Note: If you previously started to install the hotfix but cancelled the operation, follow the installation instructions in the 'Installing after cancelling a previous install' section below
1. Download HFXCC3062.
2. Log on to your first Community Connect 3 domain controller as Administrator (not SystemAdmin) and copy the hotfix to a temporary location (eg D:\temp).
3. Run the hotfix by double-clicking the self-extracting executable file (HFXCC3062.exe). The hotfix will extract files automatically (to D:\RMNetwork\RMmanage\RM Hotfixes\HFXCC3062_extracted) and begin to run the RM Installation Assistant to install the hotfix.
4. When prompted, click Continue. The installation will proceed automatically and may take several minutes to complete. When prompted that the RM Installation Assistant has finished, click Finish.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 at each of your other Community Connect 3 domain controllers. HFXCC3062 does not need to be run on Community Connect 3 Member Servers or DAMMS servers.
6. Once all your domain controllers have had the hotfix applied, log on to one domain controller as an administrator user.
7. From the Start menu, choose Programs, Administrative Tools, Active Directory Users and Computers.
8. When the Window opens showing the Active Directory, navigate to the Establishments OU.
9. Right-click on this and select Properties.
10. Click on the Group Policy tab.
11. The Group Policies applied to the Establishment will be displayed.
12. Locate the first UserType GPO in the list of Group policies that you wish to update (this should be the Guest UserType, normally fourth from the top) .
13. Click on the Edit button.
14. The GPO will load in a separate window and display both Computer and User settings.
15. Navigate to the User Configuration, Administrative Templates folder and right-click on the folder.
16. Choose Add/Remove Templates from the menu.
17. In the dialogue box click on the Add button.
18. Navigate to the C:\WINNT\inf\Research Machines folder.
19. Select the adm template which you wish to add to this policy. The two adm template files which you are adding are titled 'RM Office 2003 Policies.adm' and 'RM Outlook 2003 Policies.adm'.
Note: For the Guest UserType GPO you should only add the 'RM Office 2003 Policies.adm' template.
Note: You can add multiple adm templates by holding down the Ctrl key while selecting the adm template files.
20. Click OK.
21. Click on the Close button.
22. Expand the Administrative Templates and Research Machines branches of the User Configuration section of the policy and verify that the selected adm templates have been added.

Note: All these group policy objects require BOTH administrative templates ('RM Office 2003 Policies.adm' and 'RM Outlook 2003 Policies.adm') to be applied. The EXCEPTION is the Guest UserType which should only have the 'RM Office 2003 Policies.adm' applied.
24. Close the Group Policy properties dialogue and the Active Directory administration tool.
25. To Configure the Office 2003 and Outlook 2003 templates, use the Internet and Email policy shortcut on the desktop of the server to change or update the policies applied. For further instructions, see TEC32145 in Other Useful Articles below. Once complete, close the Internet and Outlook Policy Configuration tool.
26. Restart your Community Connect 3 workstations at your convenience for the hotfix to be installed fully.
