Summary
Hotfix to correct stack overflow issue causing Program Sets to not display in the RM Management Console.
Description
Any references to Community Connect 3 in this document apply equally to RM Smart-Tools 3.
Problem Statement
Program Sets are not displayed in the RM Management Console, although they are delivered correctly to workstations. When failure occurs, the Program Sets are not visible in the RM Management Console, and when Show Details is selected a message "completed undefined%" appears and Program Sets still remain blank.
This problem is caused by a stack overflow in the component RM Group Resource Manager and may be seen where the expression (number of Program Sets) * (number of domain controllers) equates to a number greater than approximately 500. For example, if you have four domain controllers and 130 Program Sets you may expect to see this problem.
Solution Statement
Apply HFXCC3059 if you are experiencing the problem noted above. The relevant code in RM Group Resource Manager has been updated to prevent the problem described above occurring.
Warning: Installing this hotfix may cause a server to reboot automatically. Please take care when running this hotfix and try to plan its installation out-of-hours when the network is not in use.
What will this Hotfix change?
