Issue
Community Connect 3 Replica domain controllers running the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system have a registry key setting that disables full registration of these servers in DNS. This means that the server may not be used for authentication purposes during logon or station rebuild.

Solution

Install HFXCC3094 if you have any Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Replica servers in your network.

This Update should be installed on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Replica servers. (If you install the Update on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Forest Root server, any Microsoft Windows 2000 Servers, or any Member servers, no changes will be implemented).

Important: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Replica servers will reboot immediately after applying this Update.  It is recommended that you install the Update out-of-hours.

What will this Update change?
