Summary
After applying Learning Resources Refresh, if a Staff Subject area is renamed and there is a large number of resources, the renaming may not occur properly. This results in the resource becoming inaccessible.

Platforms
You should install this Critical Update if the following conditions are met:
You are running a Community Connect 3 network with SR4 or above installed.
You have previously installed Learning Resources Refresh.
Note: The Update is only Critical if you are using Learning Resources Refresh; if this performance improvement update is not installed on your network then you do not need to install HFXCC3116.
Symptoms
After applying Learning Resources Refresh, if a Staff Subject area is renamed and there is a large number of resources, the renaming may not occur properly. This results in the resource becoming inaccessible. On occasion, it has also been found that the resource may only become inaccessible following an iisreset, depending on where the rename failed.
Also, if all security groups are removed from a resource, folder permissions are lost (and cannot be re-added).
Requirements
This Critical Update should be installed on all Community Connect 3 domain controllers beginning with the Forest root.
Servers will not need to be restarted after applying this Critical Update.
During installation, functionality such as Learning Resources, the RM Management Console and RM EasyLink will be unavailable for users.
